Palio di Romano - End of April, beginning of May.
An event that truly represents hard work and love of the land. The Palio is divided into various activities, all organized by locals who annually prepare:
RUSIC SPACES
Along the flowered streets of the town, decorated with the colors of the district, you can visit the rustic spaces (with free shuttle bus or bike rental) . Here are captured moments from the life of the past, conceived in their habitat such as old farm houses, yards, and fields, that through various works and sketches present an opportunity to learn about the history and traditions as they were lived.
HISTORICAL PARADE
The districts fill with crafts and costumes along with a band, majorettes, and the flag wavers of Romano d'Ezzelino. The procession follows along Via Zaghi, Dante, Roma, through to Bortoli and arrives at the Mussodromo set up in the soccer field in Via Foscolo. Afterwards, the jockey ceremony and then the Palio delle Contrade with the traditional donkey race.
